A direct-belt BT-40 spindle winds to ten-thousand RPM, sends twenty horsepower to the cutter and swaps tools in two-point-five seconds via a twenty-four-station arm magazine, so rough and finish ops flow in one continuous cycle. Roller linear ways push rapid traverse to nine-hundred-forty-five IPM in X and Y and seven-hundred-eighty-seven IPM in Z, slashing non-cut time, while feed overrides and Fanuc high-speed look-ahead keep corners crisp on sculptured surfacing. Through-spindle coolant plumbing (two-hundred-ninety-psi ready) teams with flood wash and chip auger to evacuate chips from deep pockets, and the Fanuc 0i-MD controller brings macro B, rigid tapping and two-hundred-block look-ahead right out of the crate.

Compared with the VMC1000B—forty-inch X travel, eight-thousand RPM spindle, twenty-tool umbrella changer—the VMC1300B stretches X another eleven-point-two inches, raises spindle speed to ten-thousand RPM, installs a faster arm changer and boosts table payload by roughly eight-hundred pounds, yet both share Fanuc 0i-MD logic and BT-40 tooling so programs and holders migrate seamlessly.
