A fifty-inch-wide cross-rail rides large linear guides while dual Z ball-screws keep the thirty-one-point-five-inch quill stroke parallel, so deep pockets hold size even under seven-hundred-forty-four-point-six foot-pounds of torque. The table spans fifty-nine inch by one-hundred-eighteen-point-one inch and shoulders twenty-six-thousand-four-hundred pounds, yet X and Y rapids still reach seven-hundred-eighty-seven IPM and Z rapids five-hundred-ninety IPM. A forty-station double-arm ATC swaps five-point-one-inch cutters in five-point-five seconds, while 290 PSI through-spindle coolant and chip-air-blow clear flutes for unbroken finish passes. Flood coolant in a two-hundred-sixty-four-gallon tank, spindle-bearing oil chillers and ballscrew support cooling stabilise thermal growth; Fanuc 31i-B with Doosan tool-load monitoring and DSQ adaptive feed trims cycle time automatically.

Compared with Doosan’s BM 2030 fixed-rail bridge mill—thirty-horsepower, twenty-thousand-pound table, twenty-tool carousel—the DBM 2030 doubles tool capacity, adds a ram-type head with one-degree Curvic C-axis for five-face machining, increases spindle power to seventy-three-point-eight horsepower and raises table load to twenty-six-thousand-four-hundred pounds, yet both machines share identical column spacing and linear-guide footprint, letting existing fixtures bolt straight on.
