The 2018 Brother M140X2 Compact Machining Center delivers exceptional multitasking capabilities with five-axis control, a BT dual contact BIG-PLUS spindle, and both milling and turning functions in a single compact footprint. Featuring X-axis travel of 7.9 inch, Y-axis travel of 17.3 inch, and Z-axis travel of 12.0 inch, along with 150 mm to 455 mm table-to-spindle clearance, this machine is engineered for complex part production with rapid changeovers. The standard spindle runs at 10000 RPM, with optional configurations up to 16000 RPM, and the toolchanger holds up to 22 tools with 0.9 second tool-to-tool changes.
