2013 Mazak Integrex i-630 CNC Vertical Mill-Turn

The 2013 Mazak Integrex i-630 CNC Vertical Mill-Turn combines large-capacity machining with full simultaneous 5-axis control. It provides 58.1-inches of X-travel, 41.3-inches in Y and Z, and a tilting B-axis from -30° to +120° with a 360° continuous C-axis table. Workpieces up to 41.3 inches in diameter by 39.4-inches tall can be machined, supported on dual 31.5-inch scroll chucks with a load capacity of 3858 pounds including chuck weight. A 50-horsepower table motor rotates the workpiece to 550 RPM, while the CAT-50 milling spindle runs up to 10000-RPM, driven by a 40/50-horsepower motor. Tool changes are handled by a 120-position magazine, all coordinated under the intuitive Mazatrol Matrix 2 CNC control.

Compared with Mazak’s smaller i500 or Variaxis series, the i630 offers significantly larger travels, heavier table capacity, and more horsepower for large-part machining. This allows shops to move beyond mid-size aerospace or automotive work into oversized, high-precision energy, heavy-equipment, and industrial applications with full 5-axis productivity.
