The 2015 Doosan Mynx 6500/50 4-Axis CNC Vertical Machining Center provides 50-inch X, 26.4-inch Y, and 24.6-inch Z travels with a 55.1 x 26.4-inch table supporting up to 2200 pounds. Its BIG-Plus CAT-50 spindle runs to 6000 RPM, driven by a 20-horsepower continuous / 25-horsepower short-duty motor generating 228 foot-pounds of torque. A 30-tool cam-type automatic changer supports tools up to 13.8-inches long, 33 pounds in weight, and 8.7 inches in diameter with adjacent pockets empty. Rapids reach 1181 IPM in X/Y and 944 IPM in Z, with 315 IPM cutting feeds, while spindle-to-table clearance ranges from 7.9 to 32.5-inches.

Compared with smaller Doosan Mynx 5400-class mills, the 6500/50 offers heavier capacity with its Cat-50 interface, larger travels, and stronger spindle torque. The inclusion of 4th-axis drives and rotary table further expands its versatility, allowing simultaneous machining and multi-face indexing on larger, heavier workpieces that lighter models cannot handle.
