2022 Doosan DVF-6500 5-Axis Machining Center

The 2022 Doosan DVF-6500 is a 5-axis trunnion-style machining center built for complex prismatic parts requiring simultaneous multi-axis contouring. With 30" x 31" x 24" XYZ travels, ±120° A-axis tilt, and a full 360° C-axis rotary table, it handles multi-face and contoured work in a single setup. The 30 HP spindle reaches 18,000 RPM through a CAT40 taper, a 60-station ATC ensures fast tool availability, and the Fanuc 31i control provides a widely familiar programming environment. An MP Systems 1,000 PSI high-pressure coolant system, integrated tool setter, spindle probe, and Doosan chip conveyor complete the package.

Compared to the earlier Doosan DVF-5000, the DVF-6500 steps up with additional X travel, a larger table, and greater payload capacity — moving from a mid-size 5-axis to a machine capable of larger structural components and heavier workpieces without sacrificing the dynamic performance that makes simultaneous 5-axis cutting practical at production rates. Where the DVF-5000 served aerospace and die-mold shops running moderate part sizes, the DVF-6500 expands that envelope to accommodate larger parts that previously required a separate bridge or gantry machine.
