2011 Haas VF-3YT/50 CNC Vertical Machining Center

The Haas VF-3YT/50 is a 50-taper vertical machining center built for shops that need the rigidity and torque that lighter-spindle machines cannot deliver. This 2011 unit features a 30 HP, 7,500 RPM CT50 spindle with travels of 40" x 26" x 25" (X/Y/Z), a 52" x 23" T-slot table rated for 4,000 lbs, and a 30-pocket side-mount tool changer. It is equipped with through-spindle coolant with a high-pressure coolant filter system, a Renishaw Wireless Intuitive Probing System (WIPS) with tool setter, programmable coolant nozzle (P-Cool), high-speed machining, 4th axis pre-wire, a Jorgensen chip conveyor, and an automatic air gun. The machine ran on the Haas control and was operated in a single-shift, climate-controlled facility with epoxy floors by a cutting tool manufacturer for product testing, resulting in exceptionally clean condition throughout.
