2015 Haas VF-2YT CNC Vertical Machining Center

The 2015 Haas VF-2YT brings extended 16-inch Y-axis travel to the proven VF-2 platform, paired with an 8,100-RPM CT40 inline spindle, 40+1 side-mount tool changer, and rigid tapping for aggressive cycle times on aluminum and light cast iron. Optioned with 4th-axis drive and wiring, through-spindle coolant readiness, an automatic air gun, CT-style tool changer grippers, high-intensity lighting, a 95-gallon coolant tank, and a dual multi-auger chip conveyor, this machine is configured for high-throughput production work in a small-to-mid-size shop.

Compared to the older Haas VF-2 with standard 14-inch Y-axis travel, this VF-2YT delivers an extra two inches of Y-travel for clamping wider parts and running 4th-axis fixtures without crowding the work envelope. The factory-installed 4th-axis drive and wiring, through-spindle coolant prep, and 40+1 SMTC also leapfrog the base VF-2's typical 20-station tool capacity and unprepped service connections — meaning fewer aftermarket retrofits and faster production from day one.
