2019 Tormach 1100M CNC Vertical Machining Center

The 2019 Tormach 1100M is a benchtop-class CNC vertical mill engineered for shops, prototyping benches, and small production cells that need real metalcutting capability without committing to a full-size VMC. Configured with 18 inches of X-axis travel, 9.5 inches of Y, 16.25 inches of Z, a 34" by 9.5" worktable, a 10,000-RPM BT30 inline spindle driven by a 2-HP motor, and Tormach's PathPilot CNC control, the 1100M runs steel, aluminum, and engineering plastics in tight envelopes other benchtop machines can't reach. Per the seller, this unit was acquired for a single contract that ran for about one month at one shift per day before the contract ended, leaving the machine in near-new condition with all standard accessories included.

Compared to the older Tormach PCNC1100, the 1100M brings a meaningful generational step forward — BT30 spindle interface in place of the PCNC1100's R8 collet system for stiffer, faster tool changes; the modern PathPilot OS in place of the PCNC1100's older Mach3-based control; and a higher-rigidity column casting designed to handle heavier cuts without the chatter the PCNC1100 was sometimes known for at full depth. For shops outgrowing a manual mill or stepping up from a Sherline/Taig benchtop, the 1100M offers a meaningful upgrade in capability without the floor-space or budget of a full VMC.
