The 2006 Toyoda BM-1200 is a heavy-duty CAT 50 vertical machining center built for shops that need rigid, high-torque milling in a box-way platform. With 47.2 inches of X-travel, 25.6 inches of Y, and 24 inches of Z, the BM-1200 handles large workpieces on its 51-by-26-inch table rated for 2,645 pounds. The 15 HP, 8,000 RPM belt-drive spindle delivers smooth, consistent torque across the speed range through a 2-speed high/low gearbox — ideal for heavy face milling, boring, and deep-pocket roughing in steel and cast iron. This particular unit has been thoroughly rebuilt: the gearbox carries all-new seals, and the spindle was replaced with a brand-new unit. It is also equipped with 1,000 PSI high-pressure through-spindle coolant for aggressive chip evacuation in deep-hole drilling and gun-drilling applications.
