This 2021 Doosan DNM 5700L is a high-productivity vertical machining center built around 51.2" of X-axis travel, 22.4" of Y-axis travel, and 20" of Z-axis travel - a long-X platform paired with a generous 59" x 22" T-slot table that handles workpieces up to 2,205 lb. Its direct-coupled 12,000 RPM CAT40 Big Plus spindle delivers 25 HP through a 30-tool arm-type ATC, with 1,417 ipm rapids across X and Y, Through Spindle Coolant, Through Spindle Air, work and tool probing, and a Fanuc i Series Plus control. A Samchully S170 4th-axis rotary table with 5C pneumatic collet closer expands capability into multi-side fixturing, and the unit ships with an LNS chip conveyor and a complete tooling package built around Kurt vises, Kennametal ER16/ER32 holders, dual-contact shell mills, and Emuge FPC holders.
Compared to the older Doosan DNM 500 II it superseded, the DNM 5700L upgrades from a belt-driven spindle to a direct-coupled drive, expands Y-axis travel from 20" to 22.4", lifts table load capacity from roughly 1,764 lb to 2,205 lb, and adopts CAT40 Big Plus tooling for stiffer high-speed cuts. The 5700L also widens the X-axis envelope to 51.2" versus 41" on the standard DNM 5700, opening the door to longer fixtures, longer plate work, and tombstone-style multi-part runs that the previous generation could not accommodate in a single setup.
