This 2020 Okuma MU-4000VL is a 5-axis vertical turn-mill machining center built around 29.13" of X-axis travel, 18.11" of Y-axis travel, and 18.11" of Z-axis travel, with a 15.7-inch diameter trunnion table that handles full simultaneous 5-axis interpolation and integrated vertical turning operations in a single setup. The 12,000 RPM HSK-A63 milling spindle pairs with a 1,200 RPM C-axis turning spindle, a 63-station tool magazine, a Renishaw inspection probe, an 8-spare-M-code robot interface, and Okuma's OSP-P300 control with Thermo-Friendly Concept thermal compensation - delivering complete prismatic-plus-rotational machining for aerospace, medical, and complex die/mold parts without re-fixturing.
