2017 Okuma Genos M560-V CNC Vertical Machining Center

The 2017 Okuma Genos M560-V is a production-grade 3-axis vertical machining center built for large-envelope steel and aluminum work. It runs a 15,000 RPM CAT40 spindle backed by a 30 HP motor, a 32-position arm-style ATC, and 40 m/min (1,575 IPM) rapid traverse across 41.3" x 22" x 18.1" X/Y/Z travels, while the 51" x 22" T-slot table accepts loads up to 1,980 lb. The Okuma OSP-P300MA control ties it together with Okuma's Thermo-Friendly thermal compensation and ISO conversational programming, and this particular unit is equipped with MP Systems 1000 PSI high-pressure coolant, a touch probing system, and an LNS chip conveyor for hands-off swarf management.

Compared to the predecessor Okuma MB-56V (the MB-V series machine the Genos M-V line evolved from), the Genos M560-V upgrades to the modern OSP-P300MA Windows-based control with substantially expanded program memory and Okuma's Thermo-Friendly thermal compensation built in, pairs the 15K CAT40 spindle with a higher-torque 30 HP motor, and gains a larger 1300 mm table and 1050 mm X-travel that the MB-56V class could not match. The result is the same Okuma machine-tool reliability in a bigger, faster, and significantly smarter platform - particularly the OSP-P300's One-Touch IGF conversational programming, which dramatically reduces setup time on the shop floor.
