2022 DMG Mori CMX 1100 V CNC Vertical Machining Center

The 2022 DMG Mori CMX 1100 V is a current-generation 3-axis CNC vertical machining center built around a CAT-40 BIG-PLUS spindle and a 43.3 x 22 x 20.1 inch X/Y/Z work envelope. This unit is configured with the 15,000 RPM high-speed spindle option, a Komo 4th axis drive, Renishaw probing and tool presetter, thru-spindle coolant, chip conveyor, and the Fanuc 0i-MF control package, an option-rich production cell rather than a base-spec floor unit. The 1300 x 560 mm table and 2,204 lb workpiece capacity give a single setup the room to take on long parts, plate work, and large fixtures without the floor commitment of a bridge mill.

Compared to the older DMG Mori ecoMill 1100 V it succeeded, the CMX 1100 V brings tighter ISO 10791-4 positioning accuracy, a modern DMG MORI SLIMline control panel, improved thermal stability, and a refreshed CAT-40 BIG-PLUS spindle interface for stiffer high-speed cutting. Combined with this unit's option set, it puts a 2022-vintage VMC on your floor with capability that out-equips most base-spec 1100mm-class machines in the market today.
