The Brother Speedio R450X1 is a compact CNC drilling and tapping center known for the speed and reliability that have made it a staple in high-volume production and automotive parts shops. This 2015 unit pairs a BT30 spindle rated up to 10,000 RPM standard, with high-speed tapping capability, with X, Y, and Z travels of 450 x 320 x 305 mm (17.7 x 12.6 x 12.0 inch) for fast small-to-medium part work. Rapid traverse rates of 50 m/min and a tool-to-tool change measured in fractions of a second keep non-cut time to a minimum, while the 14/22-tool magazine and Brother's QT two-face pallet changer let one part run while the next is loaded.
