2014 Mazak VCS-410A CNC Vertical Machining Center

The Mazak VCS-410A is a compact, high-rigidity CNC vertical machining center from Mazak's Vertical Center Smart line, built for accurate, productive machining of small to medium parts in a small footprint. This 2014 machine offers 22.06 x 16.93 x 20.08 inch (X/Y/Z) travels over a 35.43 x 16.93 inch table rated to 1,102 lb, driven by a 10,000 RPM CAT40 spindle on grease-packed ceramic bearings for thermal stability. It is equipped with a 30-tool twin-arm changer, the Mazatrol Smart touchscreen control with conversational and EIA/ISO programming, synchronized tapping, Renishaw automatic tool-length measurement with breakage detection, and MAZACC-2D shape-compensation software for tighter accuracy.

Compared to earlier entry-level Mazak vertical centers such as the VTC and original Vertical Center models, the VCS Smart series brings the modern Mazatrol Smart touchscreen control, faster processing and rigid-tapping performance, and the ceramic-bearing spindle for better surface finish and reduced thermal growth. With integrated tool-length measurement and shape compensation built in, the VCS-410A delivers more accuracy and easier setup than its predecessors in a footprint that fits tight shop floors.
