2015 Mazak VCN-430B CNC Vertical Machining Center

The 2015 Mazak VCN-430B is a production-class vertical machining center built around a 12,000 RPM CAT40 spindle and a generous 43.31 by 16.93 inch table rated for workpieces up to 1,763 lbs. With 30 by 16.93 by 20.08 inch travels, a 30-tool automatic tool changer, high pressure through-spindle coolant, and a Renishaw OTS optical tool setter, it is configured to run aluminum and steel quickly and accurately. The Mazatrol Matrix Nexus 2 control brings synchronized rigid tapping and MAZACC-2D shape compensation for clean, tight-tolerance contour work.

Set against the earlier Mazak VCN-410B, the 430B opens up to a longer 43.31 inch table and a larger working envelope, giving shops more room for bigger fixtures and multi-part setups. It also pairs that added capacity with the current-generation Mazatrol Matrix Nexus 2 control in place of the 410B's older 640M Nexus, delivering faster program processing, smoother surface finishes, and stronger shape compensation on the same proven CAT40, 12,000 RPM platform.
