The Fanuc Robodrill a-D21MiB5ADV is a compact, high-speed vertical machining center known for the reliability and rapid cycle times that have made the Robodrill line a staple in high-volume drilling, tapping, and milling cells. This 2018 advanced-model unit features X/Y/Z travels of 19.7 x 15.75 x 15.75 inches, a 24,000 RPM BT30 (BIG-PLUS BBT30 dual-contact) spindle, and a 21-tool drum-type automatic tool changer with chip-to-chip times around 1.3 seconds. Rapid traverse reaches 2,126 IPM with cutting feeds to 1,181 IPM, all run by the Fanuc Series 31i-B5 CNC control. It is equipped with high-pressure through-spindle coolant and a chip conveyor, and its 25.6 x 15.75 inch table supports workpieces up to 551 lb.
