The Chevalier EM2040L is a high-speed vertical machining center known for pairing a large work envelope with the rigidity of a Meehanite cast-iron, ribbed-frame base - a combination that has made Chevalier a value staple for shops needing size without sacrificing finish. This 2015 unit delivers travels of 40.1 in x 20.8 in x 20 in over a 47.2 in x 20.1 in table, a 10,000-rpm CAT40 spindle with the Big Plus dual-contact interface for improved rigidity and tool life, and a 24-station side-mount automatic tool changer.
