The Hardinge Bridgeport V1000 is a 4-axis vertical machining center with a reputation for rigid, dependable performance that has made the V-series a staple in aerospace, mold, and general job-shop environments. This 2018 example offers generous travels of 40 x 24 x 24 inch, a 10,000 RPM spindle built around a dual-contact #40 Big Plus taper for improved tool rigidity, and a 20 HP spindle motor for confident cutting in steel, aluminum, and tool steel. Tool changes run through a 30-station side-mount automatic tool changer, while a modern Mitsubishi M80 CNC control delivers fast processing, straightforward programming, and reliable shop-floor operation.
