(2) 2013/2014 Matsuura Mam-72-63V 5-Axis Machining Center w/ Fastems FPC-750 Flex Pallet System

The Matsuura MAM72-63V is a 5-axis vertical machining center with a reputation for unattended reliability that has made it a staple in aerospace, medical, and mold-and-die shops. This pair of 2013 and 2014 units runs as one automated cell through a 2014 Fastems FPC 750 Flexible Pallet Container, delivering 12 pallet positions of continuous lights-out capacity. Each machine offers travels of X 29.92 / Y 33.27 / Z 24.02 inch over a 19.69 x 19.69 inch pallet, a 12,000 RPM BT40 spindle, and a 240-pocket side-mount tool magazine that keeps full tool libraries resident for several part families at once. Simultaneous 5-axis motion runs through an integrated 5th-axis rotary, and the Matsuura G-Tech 30i control handles both machine and cell scheduling. A Renishaw OMI-2 probe interface supports in-process measurement and automatic offset correction, while a chip conveyor keeps the work zone clear through long unattended cycles. The Fastems FPC 750 accepts 400 x 400 mm or 500 x 500 mm machine pallets and handles loads up to 750 x 750 mm within an 800 mm rotational diameter, 35.43 inch load height, and 1,654 lb load weight.

Against the earlier MAM72-35V and MAM72-42V models in the same Matsuura MAM72 V-series, the MAM72-63V is the large-envelope member of the family - more X, Y, and Z travel and greater workpiece capacity on the same simultaneous 5-axis platform, so parts that had to be split across setups on the smaller machines finish complete in a single fixturing. The G-Tech 30i control is the other meaningful jump: earlier MAM72 machines shipped with the previous-generation G-Tech control, and the 30i brings faster block processing, stronger look-ahead through tight 5-axis toolpaths, and cleaner integration with Fastems cell scheduling software. Add the 240-pocket magazine, well beyond what the smaller MAM72 configurations typically carried, and you get a cell that holds tooling for several jobs simultaneously and switches between them with no operator intervention. This is a current-generation 5-axis automation cell, not simply a newer machine - and buying it used puts that capability on your floor for a fraction of new-cell cost.

About This Machine

Two matched Matsuura MAM72-63V five-axis centers tied to a 12-pallet Fastems FPC 750 turn the complex work you quote three weeks out into parts that run themselves overnight. This is proven Japanese five-axis iron - 240 tool pockets, true simultaneous 5-axis, and a G-Tech 30i control - giving you a cell you can trust to hold tolerance shift after shift, unattended.
