2025 DN Solutions DVF-4000 CNC 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center

The DN Solutions DVF 4000 is a compact simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center built around a 400 mm trunnion-mounted rotary table, the configuration that lets a shop fixture a part once and reach five faces without touching it again. This 2025 machine travels 24.4" in X, 17.3" in Y, and 16.9" in Z, rapids 1,417 IPM on all three linear axes, and swings the B and C axes at 20 RPM, with a 441 lb maximum workpiece weight over the table. The spindle is the 15,000 RPM option on an ISO 40 taper, driven to 25 HP and 118 Nm, and a 40-station side-mounted tool changer keeps a full five-axis tool list resident instead of forcing mid-job swaps. Control is the Fanuc 31i-B5 with the CUFOS and Collision Protection System packages, and the machine is equipped with a Renishaw RMP-600 radio spindle probe, a Renishaw RTS radio tool setter and full calibration kit, an Osung drum chip conveyor with 130 micron filtration, and a mist collector - the in-process measurement and chip management a 5-axis cell needs to run without an operator standing over it.

Placed next to the Doosan DVF 5000 that opened this line, the 4000 is the version most job shops should actually be buying. The 5000 brought the trunnion architecture but asked for the floor space of a much larger machine; the 4000 delivers the same ISO 40 five-axis platform on a 2750 x 2205 mm footprint, and gives up almost nothing to do it - it actually carries 430 mm of Z travel against the 5000's 400 mm, so tall fixtured work and long tools have more room, not less. The other real gain is generational: this machine ships on the current Fanuc 31i-B5 with CUFOS and CPS rather than the earlier control package, which matters most on 5-axis work where collision avoidance and tool-path optimization are the difference between confident lights-out running and babysitting a cycle.
