The Haas VF-2SSYT is a Super Speed vertical machining center with the kind of straightforward, dependable reputation that has made the Haas VF series a fixture on job-shop floors across North America. This 2021 example is the extended-Y configuration, giving travels of 30" x 20" x 20" (X/Y/Z) for larger fixtures and multi-part setups than a standard VF-2SS allows. At its core is a 12,000-RPM inline direct-drive spindle rated at 30 HP with a CAT 40 (40-taper) tooling interface, backed by 1,400 IPM rapids on all axes and an ultra-fast side-mount tool changer for reduced cycle times in high-volume work.
