2011 Haas VF-3SS CNC Vertical Mill w/ 4th Axis

The Haas VF-3SS is a Super Speed CNC vertical machining center with a reputation for speed, reliability, and ease of ownership that has made the VF series a fixture in job shops and production floors across North America. This 2011 example offers 40" x 20" x 25" of X/Y/Z travel over a 48" x 18" table rated to 3,500 lbs, and it is built around a 12,000 RPM, CT40 inline direct-drive spindle driven by a 30 HP vector drive. It features a 24+1 side-mount tool changer, 1,400 IPM rapids on all axes, an included 4th-axis rotary for multi-sided machining, and the Haas CNC control. The Super Speed package makes it well suited to aluminum, mold, and high-feed work where spindle speed and rapid moves drive throughput.

Compared with the standard Haas VF-3, the VF-3SS is a meaningful step up in productivity.
