2011 YCM NSV102A CNC Vertical Machining Center w/ TN160

The YCM NSV102A is a box-way vertical machining center with a reputation for rigidity and everyday dependability that has made it a staple in general machining, mold, die, and production shop environments. This 2011 example (serial 0398) is equipped with a Tsudakoma TN-160 4th-axis rotary table, adding indexed and continuous rotary machining to a rigid vertical platform with travels of 40.16 x 23.62 x 23.62 inch over a 40.16 x 25.59 inch table. It is driven by a 30 HP spindle turning to 12,000 RPM with a BT40 (BIG-Plus dual-contact) taper, supported by rapid traverse of 1,890 ipm on all axes and a 30-station double-arm automatic tool changer that keeps the spindle in the cut. The machine runs on YCM's Fanuc-based MXP-200FB CNC control, a widely supported platform machinists already know, which keeps programming, setup, and shop-floor integration straightforward. With the Tsudakoma 4th axis, a shop can clamp a part once and machine multiple faces in one operation, cutting setups and improving accuracy on complex work.

Compared with the earlier YCM NV-series vertical machining centers it replaced, the NSV ("New Super Vertical") 102A introduced meaningful upgrades: a heavier, more rigid casting for better damping and surface finish, a higher-performance 12,000 RPM spindle package, and the modern Fanuc-based MXP-200 generation control in place of the NV generation's older CNC. For a shop stepping up from an NV-class machine - especially one adding 4th-axis capability - that translates into more usable rigidity, faster spindle capability, and a current, well-supported control, a meaningfully more productive platform in the same size envelope.

About This Machine

Take on the multi-side and angled work most 3-axis shops turn away - this 2011 YCM NSV102A pairs a rigid 40 x 24 inch vertical envelope with a Tsudakoma TN-160 4th-axis rotary, so you clamp a part once and reach faces a standard vertical cannot. Well kept and field-proven, backed by a 30 HP, 12,000 RPM BT40 spindle, a 30-tool double-arm changer, and the Fanuc MXP-200FB control, it is a dependable machine ready to expand what your shop can quote from the very first setup.
