2008 Haas VF-3YT CNC Vertical Machining Center

The Haas VF-3YT is an extended-table, extended-Y vertical machining center that built its reputation on dependable, no-drama production in job shops and contract manufacturing. This 2008 example offers X/Y/Z travels of 40" x 26" x 25" over a 48" x 22" table, with a CAT 40 spindle turning to 8,100 RPM on a two-speed gearbox drive and 1,000 IPM rapids. It comes equipped with a 40-tool side-mount tool changer, a Haas HRT-210 4th-axis rotary table with an 8" chuck for full 4-axis work, high-intensity overhead lighting, and a 20 HP spindle, making it a ready-to-run platform for multi-side and fixtured parts.

Compared with the standard Haas VF-3, the VF-3YT is the extended-Y evolution built to hold wider fixtures and larger workpieces without stepping up to a bigger machine. The YT adds Y-axis travel and a wider table than the base VF-3, so operators can fixture multiple parts or larger plates in one setup, while the included HRT-210 rotary makes it a true 4-axis machine the standard VF-3 is not out of the box.
