2022 Haas DM-1 CNC Drill/Mill Center

The Haas DM-1 is a compact 40-taper CNC drill/mill center with a reputation for speed, simplicity and dependable support that has made Haas machines a staple in job shops and high-volume small-part production. This 2022 machine offers X, Y and Z travels of 20 x 16 x 15.5 inches with 6 to 21.5 inches of spindle nose to table clearance and a 250 lb table load capacity, sized for drilling, tapping and milling small precision components. Its CAT 40 inline direct-drive spindle is rated to 10,000 RPM and 15 HP with 46 ft-lbf of torque, and an 18+1 side-mount tool changer handles tools up to 2.5 inches in diameter with a 1.6 second chip-to-chip time. Rapid traverse rates of 2,400 inches per minute on all three axes and a 1,200 ipm maximum cutting feed keep non-cut time to a minimum, while the Haas CNC control keeps programming and setup straightforward for operators at any experience level.
