The Datron M8Cube is a high-speed gantry machining center with a reputation for precision and simple operation that has made it a staple in aluminum, plastics, composites, electronics enclosure, medical, and engraving shops. This 2021 Datron M8Cube A is a 3-axis CNC vertical machining center with X 40.2 / Y 32.7 / Z 9.6 inch travels (1,020 x 830 x 245 mm) and a 39.4 x 27.6 x 7.9 inch working area. It is built around a 2 kW (2.7 HP) high-frequency spindle rated to 60,000 RPM with 8mm direct shank tooling, served by a 15-tool automatic tool changer with tool length sensor. The A-version polymer concrete machine table includes a front cut-out for vertical clamping, conical centers for quick, repeatable job mounting, and integrated air and vacuum ports for fast fixture changes. Vacuum table workholding is supplied by an included 2024 Busch MINK MM 1142 BV vacuum pump.
