The Haas VF-2SS is a Super-Speed vertical machining center whose simple operation and broad parts support have made it a staple in job shops and production cells. This 2021 Haas VF-2SS CNC vertical machining center offers X 30 / Y 16 / Z 20 inch travels, a 12,000 RPM 40-taper spindle set up for CT40 (CAT 40) tooling, and a high-speed 30+1 side-mount tool changer with CT-style grippers. It runs the Haas control with touch screen, 1 GB program memory, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, HaasConnect remote monitoring, HaasDrop file transfer, Media Display M-code M130, rigid tapping, High-Speed Machining, Dynamic Work Offsets and Tool Center Point Control, Safe Run and early power-failure detection.
