The Haas VF-2SSYT is a compact CNC vertical machining center with a reputation for simple, dependable operation that has made the Haas VF Series a staple in job shops, prototype departments and production cells across North America. This 2015 VF-2SSYT combines the Super Speed version of the VF-2 platform with the extended-Y "YT" frame, giving the machine a deeper work envelope front to back than the standard VF-2SS while keeping the small footprint shops value. It runs a Haas CNC control with the familiar Haas pendant, and tooling is handled by a 24-tool side-mount tool changer. The unit is equipped with a Haas T5C3 tilting rotary indexer, along with 4th and 5th-axis drives, turning this 3-axis VMC into a 5-axis positioning cell for multi-sided parts in fewer setups.
