Chevalier is an American branch office to Falcon Machine Tools, a Taiwanese based machine tool company. Falcon Group was established in 1978 as a manufacturing firm specializing in producing precision surface grinders. In 1981, the company was the first grinding machine manufacturer in Taiwan to be designated as a Grade A Manufacturer. In 1982, the company opened up its first U.S. branch office in Los Angeles, and was opened to provide marketing and service capabilities to US customers. Falcon Machine Tools has branches also in Europe, the Middle East, China, and South America. Chevalier is based in Los Angeles, with a showroom, warehouse, and distribution and training/tech-support center.
Chevalier Vertical Mills
Chevalier offers two series of high speed VMC’s with the QP series and EM series. These machines are designed for high precision, high speed, and productivity. Chevalier’s FBL series lathes are 45-degree slant bed lathes with a spindle speeds of up to 60HP, torque tube design for maximum vibration dampening, and live tooling functions. These machines are optimal for mass production and producing complex workpieces.
